Application Procedures

  1. A written application is sent to:

    Dr. Barry Coller
    Clinical Scholars Program
    Laboratory of Blood and Vascular Biology
    The Rockefeller University
    1230 York Avenue
    New York, NY 10021

    The application should include a letter describing his/her research interests, the laboratory they wish to join, a complete CV, a copy of their New York State license (or a clear indication how one will be obtained by the start date of the appointment), and the names of three or more scientists or physicians prepared to write letters of reference.

  2. The Head of Laboratory reviews the credentials and determines the candidate's suitability.
  3. The Head of Laboratory submits nominations to Dr. Coller who forwards the material to the Clinical Scholars Oversight Committee.
  4. The Committee considers the request and forwards its recommendation to Dr. Coller, who reviews it and forwards it to the President of the University for final review and approval.
