The Office of Regulatory Affairs (ORA), directed by Cindy Seidman, MS, RD, LDN, and Medical Staff Services (MSS), coordinated by Rebecca Latter, are located in the Hospital, 102 and 108B respectively.
ORA has oversight responsibilities including:
- Quality Assessment and Improvement activities
- Risk Management
- Patient Complaints
- Compliance with Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organization (JCAHO) standards
- Patient and staff satisfaction surveys
- Department of Health (DOH) onsite inspections and reporting
MSS is responsible for:
- Processing medical staff applications for appointment and reappointment
- Address and/or status changes for medical and hospital staff
- Database maintenance for all medical and hospital staff, eg, licensure expirations
- Medical Staff Executive Committee, Credentials Committee, and Annual Medical Staff meetings coordination
